Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Imagen Medica

La presente sección requiere de las normas de CARE al igual que los reportes de casos con algunas excepciones, para lo cual debe solicitar la carta de consentimiento informado de la editorial. Se aceptaran un máximo de 2 imágenes de casos impactantes y novedosos, con su respectiva descripción y patología en cuestión, no extenderse más de 340 palabras. Se aceptarán máximo 2 autores. Las características de los datos de los autores como de las imágenes (ilustraciones) siguen las mismas normas antes mencionadas. Irá en el siguiente orden: Página del título, Palabras clave en español e Inglés, Desarrollo (presentación del caso y patología de la imagen e información relevante y sintetizada de la misma), Referencias (no más de 5 referencias) e Ilustraciones (máximo 2).

La Revista Científica Ciencia Médica sigue la Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals, emitido por la International Committee for Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), Publicado en su última versión, en abril de 2018. Disponible en: http:// www.icmje.org/recommendations/ y el Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) code of conduct for editors.
